I got back from a very relaxing holiday to a big problem. I’m not going to saying anything more about it until it’s been cleared up but I don’t really feel like writing much so things will stay quiet for a while longer yet.
In case anyone’s wondering where I am, I’m off wandering around the Lake District for a week (back on Sunday 13th May).
I’m not sure exactly when I will get back, but I’ll be spending ages sorting out photos to go onto Flickr anyway :), so it’ll be a while before I post again.
I’m planning to post a lot more when I get back since at the moment I seem to end up with lots of draft posts but never post them.
It arrived today so here’s some pics to show you what the Enamel Navy DS Lite looks like. Taking pictures isn’t easy since the flash makes the thing look bright blue in pictures. These look pretty close to what it really looks like and as others have said you could get away with calling it black.

A quick warning to anyone else in the UK importing one of these, expect to pay around £30 VAT/import broker taxes. Worth every penny though :).
What a fun weekend. You sit down for a quiet evening with your girlfriend and then your HDD decides to do an impersonation of a woodpecker. Luckily I do a backup every other day so after grabbing the few things I’ve changed that day I rebooted and XP decides that it can’t boot. After a bit of investigating I discover that the 80GB drive now thinks that it’s 3MB. It was 4 years old so it’s not entirely surprising.
The new drive arrived yesterday and I’ve got all the basics installed so I’m back in business, which isn’t bad really.
I’m tempted to try out the latest Vista CTP on the machine but I can’t decide if I should or not. Most reports I’ve read say that it’s stable for everyday use with just the odd glitch here and there.
No sign of my DS Lite yet, which is a pity but not really surprising. Hopefully I’ll have it before Easter but who knows. I’ll just have to wait and hope that Lik-Sang manage to grab me one and send it my way.
If you’ve got an Xbox 360 and haven’t downloaded the demo of ‘The Outfit’ yet go and grab it now. While I’m not a fan of WW[12] games this one is fun to play. The ability to drop a machine gun nest or a tank in when you feel like it makes the game feel less like CoD2 and more like Burnout, which is odd for a FPS.
